An Impromptu Family Dinner Date

Last night Aneesh called me on the way home from work and said he wanted to go out for an impromptu dinner on the patio at Franklin Cafe. I am always ready and willing to go out for a family dinner during the work week because I don't have to cook after a long day at work, I have an excuse to dress up, and it is a nice way to break up the monotony of the work week.

Since I was already wearing this blouse and skirt today for work, I just transitioned my look from day to night with the addition of a colorful wide belt, a printed clutch, and a chain necklace. Lately my favorite way to accessorize is to take one of my long necklaces and wear it as a wrap bracelet.

And while we were waiting for our table a little somebody peeked in my clutch and found my new Chanel rouge coco shine.
