Buttons, Ribbons, and Polka Dots
We had one of those rare types of weekends where we did not have too many pre set plans. Friday evening I must have been exhausted from the week (or maybe it was those margarita's my sister and I had at dinner) because I went to sleep at 9pm. On Saturday I treated myself to a massage (because after working out for 6 days straight I could barely move) and took Ariyana for a much needed haircut and new shoes for the fall. I had her hair cut short and even though I love it and it is super cute, for the first time I feel like my little baby looks so grown up.
Ann Taylor was right around the corner from the salon so of course I popped in for the 40% off sale and within 15 minutes (you know because that's as long as a 3 year old can handle being in women's clothing store) I managed to find several amazing items for fall. This red bag was one of the first things that caught my eye. And ever since I got this skirt from Milly in New York I have been on the search for a polka dot blouse to go with it. So I was so excited when the lovely folks over at EmersonMade sent me this black and cream ribbons blouse from their Fall '11 Collection. With the cooler temperatures now approaching I am finally in the mood to add a few key fall pieces to my wardrobe.
