Spring 2013 Trend: Bold Black and White

After traveling the past two weekends it was nice to be home this weekend. We had a mini movie marathon and caught up on some movies (Argo and Zero Dark Thirty) before watching the Oscars Sunday night. 

One of my favorite spring trends is bold black and white combinations.   Together, these colors look modern and sharp and adding silver or simple black accessories is a nice way to finish off the look.  I decided to belt the dress (since I pretty much belt everything!) and added a brooch for a little extra pop.
