STYLE PROFILE: Rebecca Taylor

Last week I had the great pleasure of meeting and chatting with designer Rebecca Taylor at Neiman Marcus Tysons Galleria.  I love her spring/summer collection because it is so modern, refined, and feminine. The collection consists of luxurious yet affordable wearable and versatile pieces. including bright whites, luxurious textures, and botanical prints. 

1. What does your typical day look like?

Each day is so different, but typically, I am in design meetings and fittings most of the day.  I have various meetings schedule each day with different department heads to go over other areas of business and usually have events in the evening twice a week.

2. What are your favorite items in the SS14 collection?

I love the enchanted gardens top and dress-it’s such a great print and feels really modern and feminine.

3. How would you describe your personal style

 “Tomgirl” I love a baggy pant and t-shirt but with a red lip.

4.. What are your favorite apps on your phone?

Postmates, Uber, Spotify, Instagram and audio books.

5. What is your business mantra?

Stay true to yourself and the DNA of the collection.
